Antonio Hamilton

ABOUT

Born on January 24, 1993 in Augusta, Georgia, Antonio Elijah Hamilton is a professional football player and the Founder of the A.L.I.T.E. Foundation, LLC.

During his tenure at Strom Thurmond High School, Antonio was a multi-sport athlete playing football, basketball, and running track. He exited high school with a 3.3 GPA and a football scholarship to play at the University of Pikeville in Kentucky, where he enrolled majoring in elementary education. However, after one semester he transferred to South Carolina State University where he changed his major to physical education.

After transferring schools, Antonio joined the football team without a scholarship. After exemplary performance in the classroom and on the field Antonio was awarded many accolades including but not limited to the Tom Joyner Award, Hercules Scholar Award, All-American & All Conference honors as a return specialist. He graduated college in 2015 Magna Cum Laude.

After college Antonio went undrafted to the Oakland Raiders where he spent the 2016 and 2017 seasons before being claimed off of waivers by the New York Giants. Antonio stayed with the Giants for the 2018 and 2019 seasons before signing with the Kansas City Chiefs. While with the Chiefs Antonio played in Super Bowl LV. He is currently in his third season with the Arizona Cardinals.

In 2016, while with the Oakland Raiders, Antonio founded the non-profit organization A.L.I.T.E. Foundation, LLC  (At Least I Try Everyday). The A.L.I.T.E Foundation’s primary focus is serving the youth in small, underprivileged communities. Alongside his wife, Tiara, Antonio annually hosts a free youth football camp and cheer camp.

Antonio is a devout Christian and makes sure his faith shines through every venture he participates in. He lives by the scripture Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.

A.L.I.T.E Foundation Scholarship Application

The A.L.I.T.E (At Least I Try Everyday) Foundation was founded in the year 2016 to help aid in holding children accountable for their everyday actions and encourage them to at least try in everything they do whether it be academics or sports.
